Regarding this cookie, I have always wanted to make it. But because the previous matcha powder was not strong, the effect was not very good. Last week, I bought a pack of matcha powder with a better color, and I started to make this biscuit. It's super cute. Maybe it’s because I put a lot of flour, and the baking is a bit scum, so if you guys make this biscuits, you have to watch the flour~

Matcha Cute Rabbit Cookies

1. Chop the butter and let it soften at room temperature

2. Sift the low-gluten flour

3. Set aside

4. Beat the soft butter with chopsticks until smooth

5. Add powdered sugar, beat until evenly mixed

6. Add another egg yolk

7. Beat until well mixed

8. Finally put in the sifted flour

9. Mix well, then mix into dough

10. Divide the dough into two, one larger and one smaller

11. Take a small dough and add matcha powder

12. Knead until even

13. Roll out the matcha dough and set aside

14. Divide the larger dough into two small doughs and one large dough

15. Take a large dough and knead it into a length of 10-15cm, press it slightly to make it into an oval shape.

16. Then roll the small dough into the same length, flatten it, and make it into a rectangular shape.

17. Cut a piece of matcha dough into a flat rectangle

18. Cut two more matcha balls and set aside

19. First put the flat rectangular matcha dough on top of the big dough

20. Put the small dough on the left side of the tea dough

21. The other one on the right

22. The remaining two matcha doughs are the same, placed on the left and right sides

23. Place the assembled dough on the flattened matcha dough

24. Well wrapped

25. Press it with oil paper, then put it in the refrigerator and freeze for 15 minutes

26. Cut into thick slices (thickness as you like)

27. Put black sesame seeds for eyes and mouth, then put it in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes, then let it cool.

28. I think it's pretty cute, so cute

Tips:

1. The appearance can be organized by yourself, not necessarily this appearance
2. The temperature of the oven should be set by yourself. Generally speaking, the bigger the oven, the higher the temperature, and the lower the temperature, the lower the temperature.
