Matcha Red Bean Dumpling

Wash the red beans in advance and soak overnight.

Wash glutinous rice.

Pour the matcha powder and stir evenly to soak for about 2 hours.

Wash the zong leaves with a cleaning cloth or brush, soak overnight, and boil them in salt water for 10 minutes before cooling.

Cut off the hard stems on the head of the zongye.

Drain the red beans and mix well with glutinous rice.

Take 2 zong leaves and stack them together and roll them into a cone shape.

Put the inset into the cone and lightly compact it with a spoon.

Then fold the excess zong leaves down to completely cover the filling, and then tie them firmly with brown rope.

Put the tied rice dumplings into the rice cooker, pour in the amount of water that has not passed the rice dumplings, and then cook the rice until it deflates naturally.

1. It is best to use heavy objects when cooking zongzi;
