Milk Porridge
1.
For a bowl of leftover rice, I just add a small bowl of water to soak it in the rice cooker to process the red dates
2.
Remove the red date core and chop the red date meat into small pieces. This way it ripens quickly, and the red dates can emit a strong aroma
3.
Put the red date grains into the rice cooker and cook for a few minutes with the quick cook button of the rice cooker. Cook the red dates and rice soft and tender, but don’t cook them too dry. Look at it. I cooked it to the right level. It took less than 10 minutes.
4.
Pour in the milk and continue to cook. At this time, be careful to stay on the side of the pot. After the milk is boiled, it will boil over the pot.
5.
Wait until the milk is boiled, then stir it back and forth and cook for about 3 minutes.
Tips:
Boil the rice and red dates with water first, so that the leftover rice will be softened, and the sweetness and aroma of the red dates will be boiled out. Pour the milk and boil it. The amount of water in the milk porridge can be adjusted. I hardly add more water. If you want to drink a bit thinner, you can add more water to the rice while cooking.
This milk porridge has the effect of red dates and it has a sweet taste. If children like to be sweeter, they can be cooked and served. When it is warm, add some honey to eat. Don't add sugar.
I use leftover rice to complete it. It is simple and quick. If there is no leftover rice, you can cook it with millet, oatmeal and other ingredients. These ingredients are cooked quickly, without delay, and are full of nutrition.
