[mother Komori Recipe] Double Red Rose Congee

Prepare the required materials.

Soak the red beans overnight in advance.

The rice is also soaked overnight. I use a mixture of brown rice and white rice to cook the porridge.

Add appropriate amount of water to the pot, and add the drained red beans and rice to a boil. After the high heat is boiled, turn to low heat and simmer for a while.

Add the red dates and cook for about five minutes.

Add dried roses and cook slowly on low heat until the red beans bloom and the porridge is soft and waxy.
7.
Add appropriate amount of brown sugar to taste, ready to eat.
Tips:
1. Red dates need to be pitted for fear of getting angry.
2. Personal habit, the roses are washed a little bit and then put in the pot. It can be crushed and boiled in porridge.
3. Although the nutritional value of brown rice is good, people with poor gastrointestinal function should eat it carefully. So I choose to use brown rice with white rice to cook the porridge, which is easier to digest.
