The Chinese New Year is approaching, and even all shopping malls and supermarkets in Toronto have hung up big roosters to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

My Chinese friends often ask me if I can make some New Year delicacies recently. I have been studying the recipes after get off work recently, and I plan to invite a few friends over for the Chinese New Year to make a table of Chinese delicacies for them.

Today, I will introduce to you a must-eat dish for New Year’s Eve: Eight Treasure Rice.
