Nougat is also known as Niaojietang (in Macao, it is called Nougat, and folks call it cowhide candy). In ancient China, eating peanuts had the meaning of longevity. The common nougat uses peanuts as the nut in the sugar and is made into a sugar shape.

Nougat

1. Heat butter over low heat

2. Add marshmallows, ground peanuts, milk powder, black sesame seeds, and salt and quickly stir to form a paste

3. Put into the mold to shape

4. Cut the nougat into cubes after cooling in a cool place
