Osmanthus Lotus Rice
1.
Soak the glutinous rice in advance. I soaked it for about three hours and it feels enough!
2.
Peel the lotus root, cut one end into a hat, pour glutinous rice into the eye of the lotus root, fill it up, smash it tightly with chopsticks
3.
Fix the lotus cap with a toothpick, so the lotus cap does not need to be filled with glutinous rice
4.
After the lotus root is full, put it into the rice cooker, add water, submerge the lotus root, add brown sugar, press to cook the rice, I cooked it twice, and it feels like it’s just about to start!
5.
After cooking, let cool, slice, and top with sweet-scented osmanthus syrup!
Tips:
Buy lotus roots that are short, fat and thick. After soaking the glutinous rice, you can add some sugar in it.
