Osmanthus Rice Cake
1.
Prepare some rice cakes like this. The one I bought is commonly used in restaurants. It has a sticky texture and is easy to cook.
2.
Add appropriate amount of water to the pot, bring it to a boil, add the rice cakes after the water is boiled, push it a little away with a spatula to prevent sticking to the pan. The rice cakes are fresh, about two to three minutes.
3.
Take out the cooked rice cakes and rinse them with cold water. If there is ice water, rinse them with ice water to make the rice cakes more elastic.
4.
Prepare a clean pot, add a little oil to the pot, two spoons of sweet osmanthus, a little water, and stir-fry evenly over medium and low heat.
5.
When the syrup is fully integrated, put the rinsed rice cake in, quickly stir-fry, and evenly coat the rice cake with sweet-scented osmanthus.
6.
It takes only a few minutes to make it easily, and there is no soot. You can cook a portion for yourself whenever you are hungry, sweet and delicious.
Tips:
You have to buy freshly made rice cakes to be delicious. They are very common in southern vegetable markets and supermarkets. This time I bought only two and fifty-one packets. One packet is just enough for a pan, enough for two people. Sweet osmanthus is fine. You can buy it from the supermarket or buy it online. If the sweet-scented osmanthus at home is dried, you can put the dried sweet-scented osmanthus directly in. You can use honey and white sugar to taste.
