Osmanthus Sweet Lotus Root

Wash lotus root

Wash the glutinous rice and soak for about 3 hours for later use

Add dried osmanthus and sugar to the glutinous rice and mix well

Cut the lotus root from the head

Use chopsticks to stuff the glutinous rice into the lotus root hole

Stuff the other half with glutinous rice and cover

Put it in the pot, add 300 grams of brown sugar and an appropriate amount of white sugar. Bring to a boil on high heat. Change to low heat and simmer for about 2 hours

Tips:
1. The sweet-scented osmanthus syrup is made from osmanthus 1:10, if you don’t like it too sweet, you don’t need to add it.
