Osmanthus Sweet Lotus Root

Soak the glutinous rice overnight;

Peel the lotus root and wash it, and cut it diagonally at a distance of 2 cm from one end of the lotus root joint;

Wash the soaked glutinous rice, use chopsticks to help stuff it into the lotus root hole, compact it, and stuff the glutinous rice into the cut lotus root joint;

Cover the lotus root joints back in place and fix them firmly with toothpicks;

Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot, put lotus root stuffed with glutinous rice, rock sugar, brown sugar and red dates;

Tips:
1. Don't stuff the glutinous rice at the lotus root joints too full, otherwise it will easily swell during the cooking process;
2. When the toothpicks are fixed, try to fix them firmly;
3. It is best to watch it on the side for the last 10 minutes to avoid drying out.
