Others are tossing nougat, let's toss peanut candy. Although nougat looks high-end and high-end, peanut candy seems to be more traditional and has a long history.
One knock every year, or two or three knocks. Made several versions. This year should be different from the past, right? I'm too lazy to remember so much, peanut candy, how much the same. It seems that many recipes do not cut peanuts, nor does this recipe, but I am more accustomed to cutting peanuts. Because I like to cut into small pieces. If it is a whole peanut, there are only three or two peanuts on a piece of peanut candy, which seems too uncoordinated. But the big peanut candy doesn't feel that way. Moreover, all kinds of peanut candies that are very popular in supermarkets now appear in the form of crushed peanuts. Such crushed pieces are suitable for all ages and are easier to eat.
This version is also pretty good. . . .

Peanut Candy

1. Ingredients: 100g peanut kernels, 20g white sesame seeds, 60g white sugar, 68g maltose, 8ml corn oil

2. Roasted peanuts, let cool,

3. Saute white sesame seeds until fragrant and let cool.

4. Peel the peanuts,

5. Cut into crumbles.

6. Mix peanuts and sesame seeds,

7. Put it in the oven, 100 degrees, keep warm, and set aside.

8. Pour the oil and sugar into the pot,

9. The small fire melted,

10. Continue to cook until brownish red,

11. Add maltose and simmer slowly.

12. Use a thermometer to measure the temperature, boil the syrup to 140 degrees,

13. Pour in peanuts and sesame seeds and mix well quickly.

14. Pour it on the chopping board and let it cool slightly.

15. While it’s hot, arrange it into a square with a thickness of about 1.5-2 cm.

16. Cut into small squares about 2-3 cm square,

17. Spread out and let cool.

Tips:

If you don't have a thermometer, you can drop the syrup into cold water to see if the sugar becomes brittle.
Peanuts and sesame seeds can be replaced with other nuts.
While cutting the sugar, keep it hot, otherwise it is not suitable for shaping.
The size of the candies can be adjusted as you like.
