Pickled Tofu

Cut large pieces of tofu into evenly thin slices.

Heat oil and add tofu and fry until golden on both sides.

Remove the oil control.

Fry all the tofu well and let cool.

Find a clean jar without water and oil, put a layer of fried tofu, and sprinkle a layer of salt.

Put all the tofu out, then add a little chicken essence.

Put star anise, pepper, and bay leaves in a bowl.

Bring water to a boil in a pot, add pepper, star anise, and bay leaves and cook for 10-15 minutes.
