Wash the mung beans, soak them in water for more than half an hour, wash the barley, and boil them with proper amount of water until the hair rises.

Tips:
Soaking mung beans in advance will make it easier to boil and bloom.
Barley is not easy to soften, so cook it in advance until it is half-cooked and then put it in the pot with the rice to prevent the rice from being soft and rotten, but the barley is still hard.
