My mother used to make leek dumplings, but now she has changed the taste. She especially likes cabbage and lotus vegetable dumplings. Every time she makes dumplings, she must put these two main ingredients. She likes to eat dumplings with more vegetables and less meat. It’s always satisfying to eat this dumpling, and it’s said that you won’t get tired of eating it for a few days!

Pork Lotus Dumplings

1. Add water to the dumpling flour to form a moderately firm dough, cover it with a damp cloth and let it sit for an hour.

2. Add salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and chicken powder to the minced pork and stir well.

3. Add an egg and chopped green onion, ginger, and garlic and stir well.

4. Finally, pour the hot oil into the meat and stir well.

5. The lotus vegetable is crushed with a food processor.

6. The cabbage is also crushed with a food processor, and the water is pinched with a cage cloth. Then mix the minced meat with lotus cabbage, add some salt and oyster sauce and stir well. Use a cooking machine to crush the stuffed cabbage, and use a cage cloth to pinch out the water. Then mix the meat filling with lotus vegetable, add some salt and oyster sauce and stir well, the filling is ready.

7. Roll out the dumpling wrapper and scoop a part of the stuffing in the center of the wrapper.

8. Make dumplings in the way you are used to.

9. Boil the water in the pot, put the dumplings in, cook until the dumplings become fat, float on the surface of the water and then remove them.

Tips:

1. Use a cage cloth to squeeze out some water in the cabbage, and the stuffing will not leak out when it is wrapped.
2. Dumplings are usually cooked for a few minutes.
