Pumpkin glutinous rice is pleasing in appearance, soft and glutinous in taste. The steamed rice has the fragrance of pumpkin, and it’s fun to eat inside and outside. "

Pumpkin Sticky Rice

1. Wash the glutinous rice and soak overnight in advance.

2. Cover the pot with a basket cloth, and spread the glutinous rice flat and steam it.

3. While steaming the glutinous rice, treat the pumpkin. Cut off the top and hollow out the inside of the pumpkin with a spoon.

4. Prepare edamame, corn kernels, a small piece of carrot, and a piece of pork sausage.

5. Dice the carrot and pork sausage separately.

6. While the steamed glutinous rice is hot, add diced pork intestines, diced carrots, corn kernels and edamame, pour in a little sesame oil and mix well.

7. Stuff the mixed rice into the pumpkin.

8. Put the lid aside and steam it together with the pumpkin. About 40 minutes or so.

Tips:

Don't choose pumpkins that are too big or medium in size.
