Purple Potato and Brown Rice Congee

Prepare brown rice, purple sweet potatoes, and cooked white sesame seeds.

Wash the brown rice, put it in a casserole, add cold water; bring to a boil on high heat and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.

Wash the purple sweet potato and cut into small pieces.

Pour the cut purple potatoes into a clay pot and cook for 10 minutes.

Pour in white sesame seeds and bring to a boil.

Pour the cooked brown rice porridge into a bowl and let it cool before serving.
Tips:
1. Brown rice can be soaked for half an hour in advance, the cooked porridge will be round and delicious.
2. The longer the purple potato is cooked, the natural pigment will fade quickly, and the lighter the color of the purple potato, the color of the porridge will become slightly bluish.
