Purple Rice Sandwich
1.
Mix the purple rice and glutinous rice and wash them with clean water.
2.
Put it in a rice cooker and cook it as usual. Add a little more water to make the purple rice softer and taste better.
3.
Put the cooked glutinous rice out.
4.
Add the condensed milk while it is hot and mix well. If there is no condensed milk, you can also add sugar to taste, but don’t expect to lose weight if you add sugar.
5.
Take a piece of toast, spread the purple rice filling on the toast, and arrange it slightly, leaving a blank on the edge to facilitate sealing.
6.
Put the toast slices smeared with purple rice filling into the sandwich maker, and cover with another slice of toast.
7.
Slightly tidy the two pieces of toast so that the edges are neatly tidy.
8.
Close the lid of the sandwich maker and set the time to heat for three minutes.
9.
When the heating time is up, the lid can be opened when the reminder sounds. The outer skin is crispy and the inner sandwich is ready. Eat it while it’s hot, and it’s sweet and nourishing.
Tips:
If the fillings are all purple rice, the taste will be too rough. Adding glutinous rice 1:1 can improve the taste very well, and the nutrition will be doubled.
When cooking the purple rice, add a little more water and the filling will taste better if the filling is slightly softer. If you have time, you can also soak the rice overnight in advance to make the purple rice filling softer.
Don't put too much stuffing, leave a little space around the dough to make it easier to seal.
