Purple Sweet Potato Dumpling

There was some purple sweet potato filling left in making moon cakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival, and there happened to be glutinous rice flour at home. These two simple ingredients were used to make purple sweet potato dumplings.

First, stir and pour some water into the glutinous rice flour, knead it into a smooth dough for later use.

Divide the purple sweet potato filling into several portions and knead them into small balls.

Take a small piece of dough, flatten it in your hand, and place the small purple potato filling ball in the middle.

After closing the mouth, round it in the palm of your hand.

Put the wrapped glutinous rice balls on a plate for later use. Be sure to apply a thin layer of vegetable oil on the plate to prevent sticking. The prepared raw glutinous rice balls can also be stored in the refrigerator.

Pour water into the pot, boil the water, put the dumplings into the boil, like boiling dumplings, beat the water three times, and wait until the dumplings float.
Tips:
When making dough, you can add ingredients such as matcha powder, pumpkin, juice, etc. to the glutinous rice flour to adjust the taste. Halfway through this time, I added matcha powder to increase the color. You can also change the ingredients at will according to your imagination.
