Red Beans, Red Dates and Lotus Seed Soup

Wash red beans and lentils and soak for ten minutes.

Add appropriate amount of water and bring to a boil on high heat. After boiling, add rock sugar, turn to medium heat and cook for about 30 minutes. The lentils begin to soften, add lotus seeds.

After cooking for ten minutes, add candied dates, red dates and walnuts. Cook for another quarter of an hour.
Tips:
Generally, a saucepan can be used, which saves time. If possible, use a casserole to make the stewed red beans more fragrant.
