Resolving Phlegm and Relieving Cough Pomelo Peel
1.
First wash the grapefruit peel with salt. There may be edible wax on the outside of fruits for preservation, which can be washed clean with salt.
2.
Slice the grapefruit peel to the size that suits you. Soak the grapefruit peel in light salt water.
3.
After soaking the yellow water, remove the grapefruit peel and squeeze the water. Then change to a basin of clean water and continue soaking. Don't use light salt water from the beginning this time. Use only clean water. Until the water squeezed out is no longer yellow. This step is to remove the bitter taste of the grapefruit peel. Probably soak for about 4 hours one after another. Squeeze the grapefruit peel every time you change the water.
4.
After the grapefruit peel is processed, start to boil the sugar water. The sugar content is up to your liking.
5.
After the sugar water is boiled, turn off the heat, and soak in the grapefruit peel that has been squeezed out of the water. Ensure that each piece of grapefruit peel has absorbed enough sugar water.
6.
After the water is boiled on a high heat, turn the heat to a low heat and start to fry the pomelo peel candies. Be sure to have a small fire to avoid partial smearing.
7.
At the end of the stir-frying, the moisture in the grapefruit peel has dried up and the powdered sugar begins to separate out, it is almost done. If you like crispy, you can stir fry for a while. It will be soft if you put it in the pan and keep it tightly sealed. Let it cool at room temperature for about 1 day, and it will be crispy. Ha ha.
