Retort Cake

Wash and soak the glutinous rice for more than four hours.

Wash and soak the kidney beans, and soak them overnight.

The dates are washed and pitted. I use half of dried dates and half of candied dates. There is no steamer at home, only a rice cooker. The bottom layer is glutinous rice (put two-fifths of it), and then it is covered with a layer of dates.

Then spread a layer of glutinous rice (one-fifth), followed by a layer of glutinous rice.

Finally, there is a layer of glutinous rice (two-fifths) and a layer of dates. Add water to the top layer of dates. Just missed it.

It takes more than an hour, and you can taste it for yourself. Very sweet. A big pot has been eaten for a long time.
