Reunion Eight Treasure Rice
1.
Wash the glutinous rice first and soak it overnight (if time is tight, at least soak it for about 4 hours.)
2.
Put the soaked glutinous rice in a steamer, place a layer of steamer cloth underneath, spread the glutinous rice flat on the cloth, poke a few holes with your fingers to help the steam rise and make the glutinous rice cook faster.
3.
Steam for about 30 minutes.
4.
Take the steamed glutinous rice out into a large bowl, add sugar and corn oil (it should be lard, replace it with tasteless oil.)
5.
Just stir it evenly while it's hot.
6.
Take a large bowl and coat the inside of the bowl with corn oil.
7.
Place walnuts, red dates, pumpkin seeds, raisins and cut almonds at the bottom of the bowl, and sprinkle some white sesame seeds.
8.
Gently put in a part of the glutinous rice and compact it firmly.
9.
Place a layer of glutinous rice tightly around the periphery of the bowl
10.
Put in the red bean paste, after smoothing
11.
Finally, put in all the remaining glutinous rice and compact it.
12.
Put it in the steamer and continue for about 20 minutes.
13.
Let it cool after steaming
14.
Just take out the eight-treasure rice and buckle it upside down on the plate.
15.
O(∩_∩)O haha~ it’s sweet to eat~
Tips:
1. The authentic eight-treasure rice should be made with lard and glutinous rice, but I didn't buy it here, and I was too lazy to refine it, so I used corn oil instead.
2. I think the dried fruit on the eight-treasure rice can be replaced with any ingredients I like.
