Valentine’s Day was over, and my boyfriend gave me a bunch of roses. I didn’t expect it to be repaid. I could only make a rose biscuit, hoping to become a romantic memory between us.

Romantic Rose Flower Cookies

1. The butter is softened at room temperature; (non-aqueous)

2. Pour in granulated sugar and stir evenly with an egg beater; (to prevent splashing)

3. Use an electric whisk or a cook machine to beat until fluffy and whitish, and then add the first egg liquid;

4. The egg liquid is added in several times, and after each addition, it is fully whipped and evenly added before adding the next time; (to prevent the separation of water and oil)

5. Sift in the flour

6. well mixed;

7. Divide into three doughs of 2:1:1, put the large dough aside for later use, and put red yeast rice powder in one of the small doughs;

8. Knead the 2 small doughs separately and glue them together;

9. After rolling out, fold the dough sheet in half, roll out and then fold in half, repeat 2~3 times; (make the 2 kinds of dough better and over-fusion together)

10. With the help of plastic wrap, fold it into a rectangle as shown in the figure;

11. Cut into six equal parts;

12. Stack the small rectangles that have been cut from the top together, and put the yellow dough on the bottom, in order from darker to lighter;

13. Then roll it into a short cuboid;

14. Divide into 5 equal parts;

15. Roll out the strips a little thinner and set aside.

16. Then roll the small strips inward, and the yellow parts stick together to form the stamens;

17.

18. Then roll out the other strips a little thinly and stick them together around the stamens, and then round them slightly for later use; (The language may not be clear, it is recommended to look at the lower right corner of the picture)

19. Wrap the large dough around the 2 colored doughs above, wrap tightly, and then wrap it in plastic wrap after rounding, put it in the refrigerator and freeze for 15 minutes;

20. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees, take out the hard dough, and cut into thin slices;

21. Place it in a baking tray with a certain gap in the dough, then put it in a preheated oven, and bake it for about 20 minutes until the surface is colored;

Tips:

1. Due to the difference of the oven, the baking time is only for reference;
2. Different brands of flour have different water absorption properties. If the dough is sticky when kneading the dough, you can add a small amount of flour several times, if it is dry, add a little egg liquid;
3. If you want pink rose, you can put less red yeast rice powder, and red yeast rice powder can also be replaced with strawberry powder, etc.;
