Snake gourd: also called snake bean, long snake gourd. The length is generally about 1m - 2m. If this snake gourd is shorter than 1m, it is basically immature and unsuitable for consumption. Snake gourd can be cooked in many ways. It can be cooked alone or in combination with other ingredients.
Comparing snake gourd and loofah, I don’t feel as good as loofah. Because this is a family-grown variety, after many comparisons between the two, it is still better than loofah.

Snake Gourd in Vinegar

1. Ingredients: snake gourd (long gourd), vinegar.

2. Peel the snake gourd, wash and cut into strips.

3. Add water to the pot, boil, and drip a few drops of oil.

4. Add snake gourd strips and blanch until cooked.

5. Remove and put in a basin.

6. While hot, add salt and MSG to taste.

7. After mixing well, marinate for about 5 minutes.

8. Place the pickled snake gourd strips on the plate.

9. Pour over the vinegar, mix well and serve.

Tips:

1. If you don't like the taste of aged vinegar, you can also put balsamic vinegar.
2. When blanching vegetables, a few drops of oil in boiling water can make the vegetables brighter. But the time cannot be too long.
