Every time around the Mid-Autumn Festival, I look forward to returning home quickly, enjoying the full moon with my family, and enjoying the happiness of reunion. Of course, it is my greatest wish. Another thing that excites me is moon cakes, a traditional special food that must be eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. In the north, the typical five-ren moon cakes are my favorite. The white sesame seeds, melon seeds, raisins, and white sugar are made into fillings, and the dough and short pastry are made into pie crusts. The fillings are wrapped and placed in a mold to form a moon cake blank, which is then baked in the oven. The mooncakes just out of the oven are also very delicious.
However, traditional moon cakes are rich in oil and sugar, which are high-calorie foods. People are beginning to pay more and more attention to the nutrition of moon cakes and the innovation of the production process.
Out of my love for food, I couldn't resist such a rising tide of mooncakes, and started to study mooncakes. From mooncake filling to pie crust, every attempt that lasts for several hours is a test of one's perseverance.
Making, taking pictures, writing Weibo, and writing recipes, from before the festival to after the festival, Dong Xiaochu's snowy mooncakes may not be the best, but they are definitely with heart. I sincerely hope that my method can make most people eat delicious snowy mooncakes.
The method of snowy mooncakes is relatively simple, does not need to be baked, and the tools are relatively easy to prepare. As long as you prepare the raw materials, you can make mooncakes that are humorous and interesting. "

Tips:

1. When making ice skin, some odorless vegetable oils such as corn oil are added. I personally think that adding butter is more delicious
2. The steaming time of the roux depends on the amount. If the amount is large, the steaming time can be extended appropriately
3. Fruity powder, cocoa powder and other powder materials can also be added to the ice skin, depending on personal taste
4. I used a 50g moon cake mold with a 20g snow skin and 30 g filling. The snow skin moon cake made with this ratio has a thin skin and a large filling, but it is easier to break. You can also change the ratio according to personal preference
5. You can also make a little cooked glutinous rice flour and sprinkle it in the moon cake mold to prevent adhesion
