Steamed Egg with Pumpkin and Red Dates
1.
Cut off the top quarter of the small pumpkin, dig out the inner flesh, and make it into a bowl shape. I used a small tool to cut into a zigzag shape. If not, I cut the flat top directly. The same is true.
2.
Cut the jujube meat and chop a little bit for later use
3.
Beat the eggs into a bowl and stir to disperse, stir 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to melt, pour into the egg liquid and stir evenly. If you like sweeter ones, just add some sugar here, or leave it alone, or add salt.
4.
Pour the beaten egg into the pumpkin bowl, and it will be 9 minutes full, and put chopped red dates on it.
5.
Put the whole pumpkin in a steamer, steam it for 20 minutes. Soft and sweet, very delicious
Tips:
The best pumpkin is small shellfish, one for each person. It is extremely convenient to eat. You can adjust the amount of eggs according to the size of the pumpkin. The shellfish I use happens to be one pumpkin and one egg. I like sweet ones with sugar, salty ones with salt, or nothing at all. Pumpkins are easy to ripe, and can be fully cooked in 20 minutes on high heat.
Corn starch is added to the egg liquid to increase the taste of the egg liquid, so don't omit it.
