Steamed Lobster with Garlic
1.
Let's get a whole Boston lobster first. It’s not very clear when I took it with my mobile phone.
2.
Cut the back of the lobster with scissors from the middle. as the picture shows.
3.
Then turn it over and cut it from the middle like the one above.
4.
Slowly break the two halves, pick out the shrimp thread and throw it away.
5.
There are cheeks on both sides, which are not edible. Cut it off. This way the lobster will be cleaned up, and it's not difficult to see it! I just don't dare to make it alive.
6.
After I got home, I soaked the lobsters in clean water for 30 minutes, and changed the water several times during the period.
7.
The ingredients are prepared when the lobster is soaked. Cut one end of garlic into fines.
8.
Put an appropriate amount of salad oil in the pot and heat it up.
9.
Add minced garlic and stir fry.
10.
Reduce the heat to low to prevent the minced garlic from sautéing. Fry the minced garlic until slightly yellow, then add a spoonful of salt to taste (don't put too much, the lobster itself has a salty taste).
11.
Put in the right amount of fish sauce.
12.
Seafood soy sauce.
13.
Steamed fish with black bean sauce. Stir them together to turn off the heat.
14.
Place the lobster on the steamer. Take a good pose.
15.
Pour the prepared garlic juice on the lobster with a small spoon.
16.
I saved the other half for baked lobster
17.
Make a pot of water. After the water is boiled, put it on the pot and steam for 10 minutes.
Tips:
1. The lobster itself has a salty taste. In fact, it is very delicious without putting anything, but it is more flavorful with seasoning.
2. When making garlic juice, it is also okay to not add salt.
3. If you are afraid that the steam will not be cooked properly, you can steam for 10 minutes and then turn to low heat and simmer for 5 minutes. My family has a patient who often gets gastroenteritis, so I took a long time, and I didn't see him sick all night, so 15 minutes is definitely safe.
