Steamed Loofah with Garlic
1.
Ingredients include: loofah, garlic, ginger, pepper, coriander, green onion.
2.
Scrape the loofah skin clean. (Remember to use scraping instead of peeling).
3.
Cut the loofah into pieces and cut a cross with a knife in the middle to make it easier to taste.
4.
Spread minced garlic, minced ginger, and minced pepper evenly on top of each loofah.
5.
Set it out and steam in a pot on the water for about ten minutes.
6.
The steamed loofah should be green, if the color is a little dark, it means that the steaming time is too long, which will affect the taste.
7.
Soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, starch thicken the top of the loofah.
8.
I find that I like this kind of watery things, not like stir-frying them very much. The garlic flavor has just blended into the loofah, which is sweet and delicious.
