Steamed Pork Ribs

Prepare the ingredients, wash the ribs with clean water and soak for about 20 minutes. It is recommended to change the water once during the soaking process to completely remove the blood in the ribs. Soak dried beans in warm water for more than 2 hours;

After the ribs are soaked, blanch in a pot under cold water. When blanched until there is no blood, remove the froth and rinse off the surface with water. Drain the water, then add the rice wine juice and mix well. Rice wine juice can help remove the smell of meat. If there is no rice wine juice at home, it can be replaced with cooking wine or white wine;

Add five-spice steamed meat powder to the ribs. Steamed meat powder is generally sold in supermarkets, with different flavors such as spiced and spicy. Friends who don’t want to buy can also do it by themselves. Use rice and glutinous rice in a ratio of 1:1, add a little aniseed, pepper, cinnamon, etc., mix and fry them, then put them in a cooking machine and break them;

Use chopsticks to mix the ribs and steamed meat powder evenly, so that each rib is evenly coated with steamed meat powder. During the mixing process, add water in batches according to the dry and wet conditions of the steamed meat powder. The amount of water should not be too much, and it should not be added all at once. After mixing, marinate for more than half an hour and then steam for more delicious taste;

Wait for the ribs to be marinated and start preparing the work before serving the steamer: first add pure water to the water tank of the Zhenmi folding electric steamer, and then turn on the power. The set time is 35 minutes, and the longest can be set 60 minutes. The amount of water should be added at once, and it is not recommended to add it halfway;

Wash the soaked dried beans and drain the water;

Add 1 tablespoon of five-spice steamed meat powder, 1 tablespoon of chopped peppers, and a little cooking oil to the dried beans. Stir evenly with chopsticks. Beans absorb oil, and a little cooking oil is added during the mixing process to make the beans taste more fragrant and soft. If you eat them without adding oil, the taste will become chaotic. If there is lard at home, it is recommended to replace ordinary cooking oil with lard, the beans will taste more fragrant;

Put the mixed dried beans on a plate and spread it out with chopsticks;

Place the marinated ribs neatly on the plate, and cover all the beans during the placement process;

Put the plate with the bean ribs into the full box of the preheated Zhenmi folding electric steamer. The Zhenmi folding electric steamer can produce steam within 10 seconds after turning on the power;

Cover and steam for 35 minutes. Don't open the lid during the steaming process. You can see the state of the ribs through the transparent box. At the same time, pay attention to the water in the water tank, and add it in time when the amount of water is insufficient;

Wait for the time button of Zhenmi folding electric steamer to jump to 0 state, turn off the power, and open the lid to take out the steamed dried bean curd steamed ribs;

Put on heat-insulating gloves and take out the steamed pork ribs with dried carob powder, sprinkle a little washed and chopped chives and serve on the table;
Tips:
1. The ribs are soaked in clean water first, which can completely remove the blood inside and taste more tender and tasteless.
2. The amount of steamed meat powder can be appropriately increased according to the taste of yourself or your family. My taste is relatively light, so 500g ribs only put about 100g of powder, the taste is right.
3. The ribs must be marinated and steamed after mixing the steamed pork powder, so that the flavor can be fully incorporated into the ribs.
4. Friends who don't like to eat dried beans or those who don't have any at home can replace them with sweet potatoes, pumpkins, potatoes or taro. The taste is very good.
5. When the pork ribs are steamed, wear an insulating water jacket to prevent the heat in the steamer from getting hot.
