Steamed Sydney Pear with Rock Sugar
1.
Wash the pears.
2.
Peel the skin with a peeling knife.
(It doesn’t matter if you don’t peel it)
3.
Cut with a "V" knife.
(Without this knife, you can directly cut off the top with a knife and use it for digging. With this V-shaped knife, the cut is more beautiful. Note that the cutting is slightly deeper, and you can’t remove it if it is not cut through)
4.
After cutting, remove the top.
(The tip in the previous step is not for you to cut the deep point, because only when both sides are cut and connected can the top cover be easily removed. If it can't be easily removed at this time, use a knife to cut again.)
5.
Use this digging spoon to dig out the pear seeds.
(If you don’t have this tool, find a small spoon)
6.
Dig a small hole inside and fill it with rock sugar water.
7.
Put the cut pears in the steamer of the rice cooker.
8.
Add rock sugar.
(I put 4 small pears in one pear, and I personally add them according to my preference)
9.
Add goji berries.
(Put 3-4 grains of wolfberry in one pear)
10.
The finished look.
11.
Add a little water to half the capacity of the pear.
(It's about half of the pear, some water will leak out during the steaming process, and it will easily spill out when you take it out when it's full)
12.
Turn on the rice cooker and steam the sweet potato program.
(The firepower of a rice cooker is not as great as a gas stove, so I choose this steaming sweet potato program, 45 minutes, if you use a gas stove, you can steam for 30 minutes)
13.
When it's steamed, put it out of the pot and serve it on a plate. Use a spoon to cut and eat. It's nice to eat and drink!
(Use a rice cooker to steam this, don’t have to look after the heat, don’t worry about mashing the pot and prepare one for the child in hazy days-steamed Sydney with rock sugar)

The tools used are for your reference only. In fact, many things can be replaced, so you don’t have to buy them.
Tips:
1. Without this knife, you can cut off the top with a knife and use it for digging. With this V-shaped knife, the cut is more beautiful. Pay attention to a bit deeper when cutting, and you can't take it off if you don't cut it through.
2. Find a small spoon without a ball digger.
3. It is enough to reach half of the pear, and some water will leak out during the steaming process, and it will easily spill out when you take it out. If you use a steamer, you can put a plate underneath, insert the cut part of the pear, and steam it.
