Steamed Tender Corn Soup
1.
The tender corn is peeled and washed, and the corn must be cleaned for later use. When buying tender corn, you must choose it carefully, and then buy it with a lot of syrup. The tender corn I bought today is not very ideal, not too tender, but very sticky. When grilling corn, be careful to grill it layer by layer, not to damage the integrity of the leaves, leave the good leaves to wash, and make the steamed corn soup container.
2.
Use a wire grater to grind the corn to produce pulp. Today’s corn steep liquor is not much juice, so you can beat an egg, but the children asked not to put the eggs, so they had to make the original steamed corn soup. It can also be mixed with a little water, but the taste is not as good as the original taste.
3.
The chives are peeled, washed and finely chopped. I used green onion leaves, not white onion. The color combination looks good.
4.
Add salt, pepper and chopped green onion and mix well. If there is no pepper, add five-spice powder. You can add some oil if you like. If you want to eat the original flavor, don't add oil.
5.
Take two corn leaves, put them on top of each other, spoon in the mixed corn soup and place them on the corn leaves.
6.
Add the right amount of water to the steamer and put it into the steamer.
7.
I use a rice cooker, cover the lid to start the steaming function, and steam for 25 minutes. If you use a gas steamer for about 10 minutes, just steam it.
8.
When the time is up, open the lid, and the whole room will smell.
9.
After being served on a plate, it was eaten up without waiting for it to be served on the table.
Tips:
1. The choice of fresh and tender corn, pay attention when buying corn, it is best to choose seven or eight mature ones, too tender, too much moisture, too old, the starch in it increases, and the protein decreases. Pick corn, you can pinch it with your hands. It is pulpy and white in color. It can be steamed or boiled and eaten with the best taste and nutrition. Too much pulp is too tender. If there is no pulp, the corn is old and the taste is not good when cooked.
2. When making steamed corn soup, if the tender corn is too old, you can add eggs and stir evenly while steaming. When adding eggs, you must add some oil, the taste is also superb.
