Ang thorn fish is usually braised in brown sauce or in soup, it is the first time to steam it! Add a little tempeh to lift out its umami flavor!

Steamed Thorny Fish with Tempeh

1. Ang porcupine fish cleaned

2. Sliced ginger pad in the plate

3. Put the ang thorn fish on the ginger slices

4. Add some cooking wine

5. Add some salt and spread it evenly on the fish

6. Add some black bean sauce and spread well

7. Boil the water in the pot and steam it for 10 minutes

8. The steamed fish pour out the steamed soup, it feels a bit fishy

9. Add some steamed fish soy sauce

10. Add some chopped green onion and red pepper

11. Heat oil in a small pot and pour the hot oil on the chopped green onion
