Zeng cake (Zeng, zèng. The sharp accent in the Guanzhong dialect, pronounced zìng, or jìng.) is a traditional snack peculiar to Xi'an and Guanzhong. "The "cake" made by steaming, hence the name. Zeng cake is a blend of rice and dates, suitable for young and old, rich in nutrition, strong nourishing, fresh in color, soft and sticky, sweet, fragrant, long-lasting food, and unique flavor.
