Stewed Bird's Nest with Red Beans and Barley

Three big bird's nest or one bird's nest, depending on the individual

After the bird’s nest is finished, I pick the hair and wash it. I use purified water for the whole process.

Soak the red beans and barley for four hours in advance, add water and cook until the barley is soft and the red beans are sticky

Add brown sugar and rock sugar, turn off the heat and simmer with the lid

Put the cleaned bird's nest into the stewing pot and steam it, then turn to medium heat for 30 minutes after the water has boiled.

Add rock sugar to the stewed bird’s nest according to personal needs, but note that the storage time of bird’s nest is shorter after adding rock sugar, generally about two days
