Stewed Winter Melon with Clams
1.
Wash the clams and soak in salt water
2.
Sliced winter melon
3.
Put the clams, winter melon, and ginger slices in the soup bowl, add cold water, salt, and steam.
4.
After five minutes of steaming, turn off the heat without opening the lid. Take it out after 3-4 minutes of stuffiness. Add the chopped green onion, and a delicious clam steamed winter melon is ready, especially suitable for summer.
Tips:
1. Steamed clam soup tastes more delicious than boiled clams. No other condiments except salt are needed, but clams must be bought live.
2. If the steaming time is too long, it will affect the taste of the clams. If the time is not enough, the soup will not boil. Be careful to use cold water to steam.
3. Since the steaming time is not long, the winter melon should be cut into thin slices, and the lid should not be opened immediately after turning off the heat. After simmering for a while, you can see the winter melon becoming transparent before you can start the pot.
