Spring comes the fragrance of wild vegetables-wild celery, which is also called water celery. It’s been about ten years since I ate it last time. At that time, I went to Lingqu with my friends. I saw that I picked a lot of wild celery and came back to fry bacon. Especially delicious. Wild vegetables generally need more oil, and it’s just right to fry with fatter bacon. The fried wild celery is tender and refreshing, and the bacon is fat but not greasy.

Stir-fried Bacon with Wild Celery

1. Prepare slap-sized bacon, preferably fat, wild celery is a small handful picked by the mother-in-law

2. Wild celery plucked old leaves

3. Cut into small pieces after washing

4. Soak in water for a few minutes to remove the soil remaining in the branches of wild celery

5. Wash the bacon and cut into thin slices

6. Peel and chop garlic

7. Drain the wild celery and set aside

8. Heat the pan on high fire, add the bacon and stir fry

9. Stir-fry the bacon until the fat part becomes transparent, turn to medium heat, add garlic and stir fragrant

10. Add wild celery and stir-fry evenly

11. After sautéing wild celery, add salt and oyster sauce to taste

12. If you like spicy food, add a spoonful of chili sauce

13. Stir all the ingredients evenly and turn off the heat

14. It's delicious to eat wild vegetables once in a while

Tips:

1. It is recommended to stir-fry wild celery with fatter bacon instead of oil
2. The saltiness can be adjusted flexibly according to taste
