Zan Tiao is a Hakka delicacy popular in Southern China, Eastern Guangdong, and Taiwan. It is a representative of Hakka food and is a non-staple food product of rice. There are many names for glutinous rice. The northern Hakka village is called "Zan Tiao", and the southern Hakka settlement is called "Mian Pakuan", which is also called "hor noodle" by Cantonese, but Guangdong Chaoshan people call it "Kui teow". ", or "Kui Tsai" as the Taiwanese call it. "Miankerchief" means hand towel in the Hakka language. It is named because the original product is taken out of the steamer and the shape is square like a hand towel.
