Sweet and Delicious Eight-treasure Rice

Wash the glutinous rice and soak for more than 24 hours.

Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot, boil and pour the soaked glutinous rice. Stir frequently after the water is boiling, and don't stick to the pan. Cook it for about 10 minutes and remove it under water control.

Add brown sugar to the cooked glutinous rice. For the amount of sugar, add the Taikoo brown sugar I use according to my preference. The color is almost colored. If you feel that the sweetness is not enough, you can sprinkle some white sugar or brown sugar on the surface when eating.

Add the right amount of osmanthus sauce. It can increase the taste and enhance the aroma.

Stir the glutinous rice and brown sugar evenly. Brown sugar can also be melted with a small amount of hot water in advance.

Spread corn oil or other odorless oil on the bottom of the bowl. Spread red dates and various dried fruits on the bottom of the bowl, and lightly place glutinous rice. You can use a small spoon dipped in hot water during operation.

Put a lot of water in the pot. Place the bowl full of glutinous rice evenly on the steamer, turn on the heat, and steam for about 50 minutes after the water is boiled.
Tips:
If there is not enough water halfway, you must add boiling water.
