Sweet and Sour Glutinous Rice Cake with Yam
1.
The yam is steamed and pounded into yam puree. Add glutinous rice flour to the yam puree without adding water and other seasonings, and then knead it repeatedly to form a glutinous rice ball. I like to add some flour to make it convenient and not too sticky after being cooked. If you like the sticky taste, you can also skip the flour.
2.
You can choose the filling at will. Today, when I was shopping for vegetables, I saw yam making a temporary rush. I didn't have the red bean paste stuffing at home. I saw hawthorn cakes. It tasted good, sweet and sour.
3.
Take a small piece of glutinous rice ball, knead it with your hands, and roll it into a thin dough with the help of plastic wrap. The dough is thinner and delicious. Using plastic wrap can help you make a thin and smooth dough.
4.
Put hawthorn cake in the middle of the dough.
5.
Then cover with a round dough, compact the surrounding edges, and use a mold to press out the shape you like.
6.
It can be cooked in a half-fried and half-fried way over a medium-to-low fire. It's delicious! !
Tips:
For yam, choose noodle yam. Crisp yam is not easy to be processed into mud.
