Sweet Potato and Wild Rice Syrup
1.
Soak wild rice overnight. Or soak it two days in advance and put it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh, just take out the soup.
2.
Peel and wash the sweet potatoes, cut into large cubes, remove the wild rice and drain.
3.
Put the wild rice, sweet potatoes, and rock sugar into an electric pressure cooker, and add enough water.
4.
Cover the lid of the electric pressure cooker, turn on the electricity, press the porridge button, and start working. (15 minutes)
5.
After boiling the sugar water, let the electric pressure cooker automatically release the pressure. (Best simmer for about 20 minutes)
6.
Stir well and scoop up and serve.
Tips:
It is more time-saving to use an electric pressure cooker. For example, it should be boiled in a low heat for about 1 hour after boiling. Adjust the sweetness by yourself. The sweet potato itself is very sweet, and don't add too much sugar.
