Sweet Potato Sago Balls

Cut sweet potatoes into thin slices and steam them in a pot

Squeeze the cooked sweet potatoes and cut the carrots into 0.3-0.5 cm thick slices

Take a small piece of mashed sweet potato and wrap it with black sesame filling

Put it in the sago and roll it around

Put the sago balls on the carrot slices, put them in the steaming grid, and spray water on the surface of the sago balls

Steam on high heat for about 15 minutes
Tips:
1. Sweet potatoes cannot be boiled, otherwise there will be too much water, steaming is just right;
2. Pumpkin or anything else is fine, but you need to make some small changes according to the moisture content of the selected material. If you use pumpkin, you need to add suitable glutinous rice flour to the pumpkin puree;
3. The carrot slices are placed under the sago balls. In order to prevent the sago balls from sticking to the bottom after steaming, they can also be replaced by other things;
4. Before steaming, it is best to spray some water on the sago as a supplement. The sago is not easy to be cooked without water;
5. The steamed sago pill should be crystal clear and transparent. A very small number of white hearts are normal and will not affect the consumption.
