When I made it, I was a little excited when I was eating. I used to have to go to the restaurant outside to eat. Now I can make it by myself. It's cheap and delicious.

Sweet-scented Osmanthus Glutinous Rice Lotus Root

1. Wash the lotus root and peel it

2. Soak the glutinous rice for more than half an hour and let the glutinous rice fully absorb water so that it will be easy to cook.

3. Cut the lotus root 2 to 3 cm from the top

4. Fill the hole of the lotus root with glutinous rice and fill it up. You can poke it with chopsticks, which is better.

5. Put the lid on and insert a toothpick to fix it

6. Put the brown sugar and rock sugar in the pot, dissolve it with water, put the lotus root in the pot, fill the lotus root with water, then cook for more than 2 hours ~ finally remove the slices and put on a plate. Then pour some leftover juice and sweet-scented osmanthus sugar in the pot. You can also pour some honey if you like! It's better after cooling down~

Tips:

The toothpicks that hold the lotus root should be fixed so that they don’t loosen during the cooking process. Add or subtract sugar according to your taste~
