Taro Balls and Red Date Syrup

The pumpkin is steamed and pressed into puree. If you like more delicate pumpkin puree, you can use a cooking machine

Add tapioca flour to the pumpkin puree.

Mix pumpkin puree and tapioca flour.

Mix it without dry powder and knead it into a dough by hand.

Take a small piece of noodles and roll them into finger-thick noodles.

Cut the kneaded noodles into small pieces, do not cut too big pieces, the large ones are not easy to cook.

After cutting it, round it by hand or not. According to personal preference.

Boil the taro balls in a pot under the water. The taro balls will be at the bottom of the pot just after the pot.

The taro balls will rise after boiling slowly. Boil the taro balls on a low heat and cook until the taro balls are transparent.
Tips:
Soak the boiled taro balls in cold water. They have a more chewy texture. They are paired with red bean milk and other desserts. You can eat them whatever you want.
