7. Use a knife to arrange the cucumber slices into petals. Cut out 5 to 6 slices wider to make the outer petals. Cut out 5 to 6 narrower pieces and make the petals inside. The elliptical shape of the petals does not have to be exactly the same. If they are exactly the same, the whole flower will be a bit dull.

8. Cut a section of cucumber about 1.8 cm in length, trim off the green outer skin, and dig out the inner flesh with a knife to form a hollow. With more petals, the round holes can be wider. With fewer petals, the round hole should be smaller.

11. Fix the second piece, the third piece and the fourth piece one by one. The petals inside need not be fixed. (Because cucumbers are watery, the water oozing from the cucumber skin will cause adhesion between the petals.) As the number of petals increases, the holes become smaller and smaller. At this time, we can help with toothpicks.

Tips:

Not all disc decorations need to be carved, this is an assembling flower. You can also use red radish and white radish to make it, but the texture of the radish is a bit hard, so you need to cut it thinly when making it, and soak it in light salt water for a while to make it softer.
Pick cucumbers that are tender, and it is best not to have cucumber seeds on the petals. The number of petals is about 10 or 12 petals, and the number can be adjusted according to your preference. When making the first cut, cut out the slope so that the cut flower shape will look slender.
Pick cucumbers that are slightly tender and slender. There should be no cucumber seeds on the trimmed petals. If you can see the unripe cucumber seeds clearly on the petals, the petals will look rough when they are done.
Put the flowers in a small container with a lid, sprinkle with a little water and put them in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
