The prickly ash tree has sprouts. Whenever I see the tender shoots of the prickly ash tree, I can’t help but pick some for cooking. I just love the unique scent of the prickly ash leaves, and use it to make special dishes. The taste is different from the hemp of the pepper, it has a clear fragrance, which can enhance the flavor and refreshing after being served!

Tofu with Pepper Sprouts

1. Clean the freshly picked pepper buds

2. Then it is soaked in light salt water for sterilization. Because you want to eat it raw, this step is essential

3. Dice tofu, boil for half a minute and remove

4. Mix the tofu with salt and sesame oil

5. Pour the salad juice into the pepper sprouts

6. Put a little salt

7. Add sesame oil

8. Mix evenly

9. Then pour the tofu into the pepper sprouts

10. Just mix it a bit

Tips:

Because tofu and pepper sprouts eat different amounts of salt, they must be mixed separately and then mixed together. Also, the tofu cannot be over-mixed, otherwise it is fragile, so it needs to be mixed separately.
