I went to the temple to pray for blessings on the weekend, met with the Zen master, and made a vegetable oil shortbread to the abbot. It was crispy and delicious. The method is simple and there is no failure.

Vegetarian Shortbread

1. Mix oil, salt, sugar, etc.

2. Pump and stir evenly by hand until water and oil do not separate.

3. Add flour, soda, chopped walnuts, sesame seeds, etc. The walnuts and sesame seeds are cooked in the microwave in advance.

4. Stir well with a silicone knife.

5. Stir evenly until it can be beaten into a dough and the seal is relaxed for more than 2 hours.

6. Knead into balls and press them into round cakes, evenly place them in a baking tray, leaving a little space between the cakes.

7. After the oven is preheated, set it to 200 degrees and bake the middle layer for about 20 minutes. At the same time, start the hot air system and bake until the surface is golden.

8. Bring out of the oven and let cool.

9. Crispy and delicious, full of flavor.
