Water Chestnut Fish Cakes

Prepare the ingredients, you can use any kind of fish, as long as it’s fresh enough, I use dace

Add seasonings to the fish, chop the water chestnuts finely, and chop the coriander

Mix the fish and seasonings in one direction evenly

Adding water chestnuts chopped is also mixed in one direction evenly

Add cornstarch and mix in one direction

Add coriander

After all the ingredients are mixed evenly, if you have strength, it is best to beat the fish cake ingredients to increase the elasticity

Sprinkle a large amount of dried cornstarch on a plate, place a portion of fish in the cornstarch plate, trim it into a pie shape, stick with cornstarch on both sides, set aside

Heat the pan with a little more oil

Put the fish cakes in the frying pan and fry on low heat

Fry until the fish cakes can be pushed, turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for about 5 minutes with the remaining heat

Turn on the heat again, turn over and fry the fish cakes until golden brown, turn off the heat, and serve
