Wheat Buns (cereal Buns)

Prepare the above materials (Anqi for yeast; golden flavor for oatmeal, 23 grams per pack, oatmeal can be replaced according to personal preference, Luwang for flour, different flours have different water absorption, adjust the water ratio appropriately)

Use warm water to dissolve the yeast, mix the flour, sugar and oatmeal evenly, add the yeast water to the flour and knead it into a dough

After pouring hot water into the steamer, leave the dough in the steamer to ferment for 20 minutes until the dough has doubled in size. Press it with your fingers and it won’t rebound.

Knead the dough again to remove the air, so that there are no big holes in the steamed buns. And divide into 6 equal parts

Knead it into a small round dough, leave it in a steamer with hot water for a second fermentation for 20 minutes, steam it on high heat for 15 minutes, uncover it, and steam it on low heat for 1 minute.

Take it out while it’s hot to avoid sticking to the steaming cloth when it’s cold~
