However, due to the coldness of wax gourd, the spleen and stomach are weak, the kidneys are weak and cold, those with chronic diseases and diarrhea, and those with yang deficiency and cold limbs eat less food.
Barley is digested and absorbed, porridge, soup, sugar water can be used. In summer and autumn, Cantonese people especially like to cook soup with winter melon to clear the heat and promote dampness. Ingredients

Winter Melon Lao Duck Soup

1. Soak barley and ginseng for a few hours

2. Chop small ducks and wash them

3. Put it in the pot, add water

4. Water boil for a minute

5. Pour the blood water and re-start the pot

6. Join barley ginseng

7. Add winter melon skin and sac. (They all have the effect of clearing away heat and relieving summer heat)

8. Pour 1500 to 1800 ml of water

9. Start the soup function, there are different soup functions here, the time is different, the duck does not need to be cooked for a long time, so I chose the stewed chicken

10. After 30 minutes, remove the skin and sac

11. Add winter melon, continue to boil for 10-13 minutes, seasoning
