4. Peel the yam for later use. I feel itchy when I cut the yam, so I can put some vinegar on it.

5. Cut into small sections and put in a pressure cooker, just a small bowl of water. Don't need much water

Tips:

Add the remaining mashed yam and stir it with Thousand Island sauce and it tastes very good
